Loyalty discount?

I got an email from Xfinity that I copied and pasted below:

-----

Great News! We're giving you a loyalty discount

We hope you're enjoying your Xfinity Internet. As a reminder, your current promotional pricing expires on March 7, 2026. However, to thank you for being an Xfinity customer, we'll be applying a "Loyalty Discount" credit to your bill for the next 12 months as long as you do not make changes to a product with a promotional, service, or product discount.

No action is required by you. We'll begin apply the credit once your current promotional period ends. So, just keep doing what you love (and love how fast you do it) with the best WiFi for your home.

Thanks again for being with Xfinity.

However, the email does not show what amount the credit is for. Can I assume my current monthly rate will stay the same for the next 12 months? How do I find out for certain?

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.

When I first signed up for the internet 1100Mbps plan, I was informed that the price would be $60 per month for the first 12 months and $70 per month for months 13–24.

However, I have been paying about $70 per month so far, and my upcoming bill shows a charge of $95. According to the promotion details, the discount amount is reduced by $10 per month, but my total monthly payment has increased by about $25 instead.

Could you please explain why my bill increased by this amount?
