Lost equipmet

I have lost the equipment for my Xfinity service in a move out of state. How do I settle for these lost items? I’ve had 4-5 dead end calls between Xfinity and the recovery company.

Hello @user_mv6zkz and thank you for reaching out to our Xfinity Community forum for assistance.

If you have been unsuccessfully been able to reach a resolution speaking with the recovery team, you may be able to sign on to your old account using your Xfinity ID at https://www.xfinity.com/ or via the Xfinity App .  Alternately you can stop in a a local Xfinity Store to take care of the issue as well or call into our main number at 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489).

If you still have access to a copy of your final bill that showed charges for these lost items, you can also make a payment for those charges by mail.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance with this.  We're here to help!

The equipment is not showing up on my account, there are no options for items to return when I go to Xfinity.com/returns and we’ve moved to a state where there are no Xfinity stores. How can I proceed?

Hello, I canceled my Xfinity internet service because I moved from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Iowa. Before moving, I submitted the request to return my Xfinity equipment, but I did not receive a response in time. By the time Xfinity responded, I had already moved to Iowa and was no longer at my previous address.

I would like to resolve this matter completely. I am unable to return the equipment at this point, so please let me know the unreturned equipment charge and add it to my final balance so I can pay it and close this matter.

Please also confirm that my account is fully closed and that there will be no additional charges after this is resolved. Thank you.

Hello @user_22jase Thanks for reaching out. We do partner with UPS so if there is a UPS store in the new area you can bring it there and they will box it up and ship it back for free. You can even request the prepaid shipping label ahead of time following the steps in this link below:

https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/returning-your-equipment

As far as unreturned equipment goes the charges can range anywhere from $100-200 depending on the equipment models you have. So without seeing the account, yet I couldn't tell you a specific price for yours. If you prefer to go this route instead of returning to UPS, then send us a direct message with your full name and service address.
