Internet pricing
I have been an xfinity/comcast customer for 20 years. I recently had a 2 week ordeal that took over 20 hours on the phone with 2 trips to the xfinity store. I was given wrong information several times. My service was disconnected at one point. I was attempting to change my service to streaming. When I call in to xfinity I’m thanked for being a ‘loyal’ customer with ‘platinum’ status.
There is an offer for 1GB of internet service for $65 guaranteed for 5 years. When I called in to customer service, I was told that I am not eligible unless I cancel my service for 3 months and come back as a new customer. This is absurd. You’d rather lose me as a ‘loyal’ customer than honor your offer. This does not seem like you value your customers. There are 4 Internet companies available in my neighborhood.
I am requesting you honor your offer of $65 for 1 GB of internet service guaranteed for 5 years

Hey @user_1uiibi, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and share your feedback and experience. We would be more than happy to see what offers are available and eligible for the account.
The account may not be eligible for new customer acquisition offers that you may see on TV or advertisements. These offers would be eligible to new customers who have not had services within 90 days. We can go over the account along with available offers to assist in finding a plan that better fits your household needs and budget.
While the offer you may be looking for is not available, we can see what other speed tier options are closer to that price point. Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, clicking on the pen and paper icon, and then entering “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your full first/last name and complete service address (Including the city, state, and zip code), and I'll be happy to help.
