I was billed for a year after account canceled

In December 2024, I canceled my Xfinity internet service and received an email confirmation stating that my service would end that month. I thought my account had been closed, so I didn’t pay much attention to it.   However, automatic payments continued to be charged through May 2025.

In April 2025, I contacted Xfinity customer service via chat and phone. The representative assured me that I would receive a refund. Despite waiting over two months, I did not receive any refund, so I reached out to customer service again. They informed me that a ticket had been created for my case.

Recently, I received an email stating that they are unable to process my request for a credit without explaining reasons. I’m extremely frustrated by this experience and lack of resolution.
