I switched to a cheaper internet plan, but I'm still being billed for the more expensive internet plan for next month.

Hi! I just wanted to ask why I'm still being charged for the more expensive internet plan even though I switched my plan to a cheaper option. Will this be a proration rate for the following month's billing cycle? I would like to talk directly to a customer representative to make sure.

ItsTooKrispy, thanks so much for reaching out through Xfinity Forums. We bill 30 days in advance, so any extra charges you see will be credited back to your account once the new billing cycle begins. Let me know if you have any other questions.

@XfinityAngie Thanks. I have autopay set up, is there anything else I need to do or I should be ok?

You should be just fine @ItsTooKrispy!  Typically, you'll see the pro-rations appear on the next statement, and everything will move forward at the new rate.
