I have been trying to cancel my service for 5 months.

I am being charged for a service I cancelled immediately. I never even took the modem out of the box. I have called six times, I have gone through the chat 4 times - every single time they promised my service would be cancelled and they keep billing me. I was promised that my account would be refunded several times. I have recorded all the calls and have screenshots of all the chats. 

Now it's affected my credit and I am pretty angry. Does anyone know the most efficient legal recourse?

How to Send Us a Direct Message:
1.  Click "Sign In" if necessary.
2.  Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
3.  Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
4.  In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
5.  As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
6.  A "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
7.  Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
8.  Press Enter to send it.
