Here we go again. Comcast purposefully doesn't cash checks on time

I sent my payment a full month before Comcast cashed it and then they charged $10 late fee. Deceptive and dishonest practices. Shame on you.

That's a thought, but my other bills, mailed the same day, were cashed within 7 days. Comcast cashed the check, mailed December 22, on January 23...well after their billing cycle date of January 15, and a month after it was mailed. They did remove the late charge at my request. And I appreciate that Comcast immediately took care of that. It's weird that this has now happened two years in a row, around the same time of year. I always pay this bill right away when it comes in the mail because Comcast gives a very short turn around time.

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forums, @ohmygoodness! I'm sorry there was a delay concerning your payment, but I would be glad to look into this for you. I'll need a little more detailed information to bring up your account, and we would never ask for that on a public post. Could you send us a DM to get started?

@XfinityTimothy there problem isn't the post office. It's that Comcast waits a month and past the billing cycle to cash the check

You may want to check with your local post office. Even city ones have laid off employees and the deliveries are taking longer.
