Help! My Promotional Discount is now $5 lower than what I signed up for.

Hello, I have been on live chat for the past 2 hours with customer service and they couldn't help and recommended I come here.

I originally signed up on 6/18 for Xfinity service Connect More, normally $76 on a promotional discount for $35. You can see on my first statement, I was being charged that amount, with $36 in promotional discount and $5 in autopay discount.

The second statement I got, my promotional discount is now $31 instead of $36. It also notes a change on 7/20, and partial charges from there. It states my plan was removed and a new plan added (the same plan) with the new plan being $5 higher.

On 7/20, I did go into an Xfinity branch since I did not receive a Gateway to actually set up the wifi. I was told there I had to sign for it, but no changes were being made to my plan (which is I guess not true, since it states my plan was removed and re-added at a $5 higher price point).

I don't understand why the store would change my plan when they told me there was no plan change. I just want my promotional discount to be back to the original one I signed up for, and customer service via live chat was no help so I come here asking for assistance! Thank you.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

In order to get started can you, please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”.
