Has anybody's bill increased substantially since the end of 2025?

I've got 3 cable boxes with Ultimate Cable package and the X2 internet package through Xfinity in the Denver, CO market. My bill has recently gone from $258 at the end of 2025 all the way up to $331 dollars currently for my February bill and next month shows over $340. I've talked to customer retention and they've been unable to do anything so I'm currently boxing up all my stuff to take it into the store and cancel my Xfinity subscription after being with them since the AT&T buyout in Denver in 2001.

Are they attempting to charge over $330 for 3 cable boxes and 2 gig internet to everyone? Other national providers are offering 2gb locally with vastly higher upload speeds for $70 and I can obtain streaming packages for vastly less than the garbage that is the Ultimate cable package.

It's been a good one Xfinity but after 25 years my home account and business accounts will both be closed as soon as I can have another provider out to hook up new lines.

Greetings @user_m08t4f, and thanks for posting to the Xfinity forums, I hope this message finds you well. I am sorry to hear that you are going to cancel the service on the account because of the increase on the billing, but that is understandable. The good news is that with our new cable plans, the first box is included for free, and we also have the Xfinity stream app that you can use in lieu of cable boxes, and that can help with the cost of the plan. If you would like we can take a look at the account and see what we can do. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?
