Greetings, @Mrsdow14! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about your bill. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

There isn't really a set amount of days in a grace period. It can vary from state to state, and your previous account history will usually determine how late you can pay your bill before you receive a late fee or suspension. Generally speaking, if your bill is due on the 9th, then it was most likely issued around the 19th of the previous month (three weeks prior). That means your next bill will be issued around the 19th of this current month. If you are not able to make a payment until the 22nd, your bill on the 19th will have a total balance due for both months, and the previous month's balance will become past due.

It is usually not a big deal if this happens one time, but if your payday falls on the same day every month, it might be a good idea to move your billing dates, so they line up with your paydays going forward. You can find more details about how to do this here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/due-date-change.
