Drop Relocation Survey Dispute
I was charged a $100 fee for a Drop Relocation Survey which was not rightfully charged. Outside of my control, there was confusion between the Xfinity wire bury people and the Xfinity service tech. Because of their own confusion, they submitted another request for the tech to come back out and look at my wire. It resulted in no wires being moved or anything.
I was told I should not be charged for this from many Xfinity service reps and was told because the service tech came out and didn't move any wires or relocate then I should be refunded; however, my request is constantly denied by the credit department.
I was at my last cable provider for 15 years and never had any issues. Xfinity came highly recommended and I am extremely disappointed that I've been slammed with a $100 fee for something that was totally and completely outside of my control. All I wanted to do was set up new service and use internet. Instead I've had the most confusing and frustrating experience with any company I've ever had.
