Does xfinity start to bill customers on the day that they order service or when the service is activated by the customer?
I would like to order Xfinity cable TV service with two Xfinity wireless boxes. I would like to know when Xfinity starts to bill customers. Is it on the day they order service or when the service is activated? I presently have Xfinity Cable internet through the Internet Essentials program. Thank

Hey @user_t4owjx, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. If you have possession of any cable boxes, those will need to be returned as we no longer have any Xfinity X1 set-top boxes listed on the account. They can no longer be used until they have been returned to the warehouse and reset.
We do offer our Xfinity Video services which is a separate service outside our Internet Essentials program. We do not have video services bundled with the Internet Essentials services.
If you were to order our Xfinity Video services, the billing would start on either the date of activation or the date we schedule for activation. If billing takes place in the middle of a billing cycle, there will be prorated charges on the next service bill for the future month and the partial past months charges.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
