Customer rep changed my plan and bills increased without my approval

Dear Team,

Only July 13th, 2026 I has discussion with customer representative about my billing issues. After resolving billing issues, they offered me plan change for 1000Mbps with $60 and I rejected multiple times. After sometime they said we will change without price increase and they sent multiple message for approval, During approval I see the price was not changed and did not approve. But later they changed the plan and increased the price and now they say I had approved and they can’t die anything. This is totally insane from Xfinity.

The concern is not "Community Center" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi there. @user_ojma95 Thank you so much for reaching out on our Xfinity Community Forum about an unauthorized package change.  I'll be happy to assist.  When you spoke with someone, did they confirm how does it show the offer was approved before being added to your account?

They keep saying that I had approved.

Thanks for the response, do you recall getting a text message or email with the approval for the order?

Similar thing happened to me. Right after chatting with an agent about a bill adjustment, I got an email confirming an order for "Now TV" ($20/month) and an "upgrade" to 1000mbps for $60/month. Except in my case, they didn't even pretend to offer it first- there was no chance to accidentally agree to anything. They just silently tacked on unrequested charges to my account. So, I guess they use a billing complaint as cover to sneak in extra charges, betting most people won't notice until it's buried in a future statement.
