Charged for an equipment which I have not taken from Xfinity
Hello, I took Xfinity internet last year and have been using my own modem/Wi-Fi router. Recently I moved to a different location where I get Xfinity internet as part of the rental/utility services from the Apartment community. So I was asked to terminate my existing connection and register for a new service with a new account number. After I have terminated the old service, I was charged $120 for Xfinity Wi-Fi router which I have never taken from Xfinity. I have been receiving emails asking to make the payment. So I had a chat with Xfinity agent who apologized for incorrectly charging me and offered $10 credit along with removing the $120 charge. After a month I received an email stating that I have $130 due and to make the payment by a certain date or the internet service will be discontinued. Could you please help me how to resolve with this mis-understanding by Xfinity ?
