Cancelled cable , kept internet , was still charged two months of cable

On July 28th I cancelled my cable but kept my internet . I returned my equipment to the Xfinity store which is where I went to cancel my cable . I was charged for cable for August and September !! I called last week and spoke to a customer service rep who put me on hold for 42 minutes to discuss with a supervisor . He came back on and told me he needed to put me on hold to speak to someone else . I told him I cannot wait any longer on hold and if he can look into it and note my account for when I call back.
Called today and finally got a CS rep and after verifying my account I made sure I was clear with what my issue was . I was put on hold and 37 minutes later , a new rep answered and I was put back in the main cue . I had to re-explain my situation. This rep did see that I returned my equipment but once again needed a supervisor . At this point I have been on the call an hour and 14 minutes ! Supervisor is going to call me in 5-10 minutes they promise !
It has now been an hour and I don’t think I’m getting any call back. I will be now canceling my internet as well.
