Browser

I’m recently unable to view my Xfinity bill in detail on my phone anymore due to what I’m told is browser issue. In contrast however I can see amount owed and able to pay online which seems odd. Additionally no problems viewing other utility bills on line such as National Grid or Eversource or AT & T. Why is that?

user_cf9138 Have you tried to clear the cache and cookies for the browser you use on your phone to see if it helps? Does the phone also have the most up to date IOS for it, and if installed does the Xfinity app work at viewing the billing on the same phone having the problem?

@XfinityEricB I’m unable to get the Xfinity app for same reason! My phone is older model which is as updated as allowed for that model. But since Xfinity only company with which I’m having problem don’t think I should hand to get new phone just for that reason. My remaining question is how come I can still view Xfinity bill owed and pay online with very same browser? Seems inconsistent.

Sorry meant to mention did clear browser sometime back so don’t think that’s the issue especially if works fine with viewing other utility company bills.

user_cf9138 Most likely It's for the same reason as the app. The reason it was discontinued is that the company that supports updates for the phone will at some point stop releasing security updates for its software on older devices or put out an update that render it incompatible with our app and website. When that happens we stop allowing account access on these devices to account details for account security, or because we can't due to being incompatible now. I fully understand not wanting to get a newer device when the current one works just fine, and certainly wouldn't tell you to do otherwise. We just can't bypass the ability to access the account with any means on devices where security protocols are no longer being maintained to the latest treats, or the latest update won't allow compatibility.
