Billing

My bill just went from $40 to $98 for Internet only. I have lived here for 3 years and in that time frame my bill has gone from $25>$98 for the same service. I am on SSI disability and live in supported housing and the entire extremely large complex is wired by Xfinity. We are captive. I looked into applying for the Essentials program but I am not eligible bc I am an existing customer. I didn't do it when I moved in bc my bill was $25 which I could handle on my fixed income. I can't handle $98.

Hi there, @user_otkotl. Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum and for being with us the past 3 years. It sounds like you may have come off a promotion or discount period. I can understand wanting to get a lower rate. We can check to see if there are any further promotions you may be eligible for. Please send a direct message to us by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your full name and complete street address.
