Billing question

Just got an email saying my payment is past due, but my account shows a credit.  Tried contacting support via phone and got stuck in a loop.  Tried to chat and that was not helpful.  I’d like to figure out if I actually owe or not because I am confused why I’d get that email which appears to be from a valid Xfinity email.
