Billing escalation requested — $100 technician credit promised before visit

I am requesting escalation of a $100 technician visit charge.

Before agreeing to the technician visit, I contacted Xfinity support specifically about the $100 charge and was explicitly told that after the charge posted to my account, I could contact Xfinity to have it credited back. I relied on that representation when I agreed to the technician visit.

The $100 charge has now posted. I contacted support today, but my credit request was denied, including after the representative checked with their supervisor/head team. The denial only states that the technician visit is a valid charge and does not address the prior commitment made by Xfinity representatives.

I am not disputing that Xfinity normally charges for technician visits. I am asking Xfinity to honor the specific commitment its representatives made to me before the visit.

Today’s chat ID is 6815189463858366765. I can provide the earlier chat records showing the credit commitment privately.

Please escalate this for review by the appropriate billing/customer relations team.

Hello @user_58yw3z, and thank you for sharing those details here on our Xfinity Community forums.

I can understand why you’re requesting another review, especially when you agreed to the technician visit based on a specific commitment that the charge would be credited afterward.

We’d be happy to review the account and see how we can help. Please send us a Direct Message* with your full name and complete service address. We appreciate the opportunity to take a closer look with you. 😀
