Billed for services that were never received , not activated, nor hooked up at all.

Signed up for the Xfinity.  Elected to use own equipment.  Was told after signing up if get an email with instructions and as well if be receiving something in the mail with details on how to set it all up.  Never got an email and never received a packed in the mail. Waited as the original confirmation email said I'd receive it in the mail and never came.  I assumed something went wrong and the order wasn't processed right. Wasn't billed to the card as I set up auto pay but then 3 months later I got a bill worth of 3 months of service with all late fees    i called and spoke with someone.  Told them this story and clearly asked " was there a service ever even attempted to be hooked up.   Was there even a mgbt of data even downloaded.  No nothing was ever hooked up or even stated.  Tm he looked into the account and said the best he could do is remove the late fees and that current month.  Still sitting with 160 plus bill for service I never even hooked up.  I would even know how to caus I got nothing in the mail.  Looking into it even further I found out and told him even if I did get something in the mail I couldn't have activated it anyhow.  The address is wrong.  It's listed as 124. And I am 126.   I own this house and it's a duplex.  So service wouldn't have even started anyhow.  I also asked my tenant next door if he saw anything in the mail as sometimes it'll go there by mail mans mistake but he said nothing at all came there.   So here I am stuck now with this and I have attempted to call and call. I go threw long periods of watering info to be told I'd be connect to some one then it says sorry we can not help you please log into your account and search the help section to speak with assistant.   This is not the Xfinity I am use to. I moved away for years and last I had it they cane to hook up the wires and etc.  This is suppose to be a sign up and go now ??!  Okay sounds great but Xfinity has some serious issues with being transparent on how to do whatever it is that needs to be done.  A quick Google search of this is and the pages are flooded with this same issue and many many more horra stories about services they didn't or do not have.  Even if you set aside half of those complaints as [Edited: "Profanity"] your still left with 10000s of people that are fustatted and are being [Edited: "Language"] over.   Id like to also say that as we move forward in the tech world that's very understanding very convenient and I welcome that. But let's not forget that we still live in the time that people didn't grow up with computers to start with and furthermore don't even know how to use the internet still from that all the way to very techy people so put this on someone that doesn't even really know a lot about it just trying to get services and they would even be more in a bad predicament than I am and I'm pretty tech savvy so this is just very very very upsetting and very irresponsible as Xfinity as a company. I'm hoping that I get some sort of response out of this because I don't know where to go with this other than paying the bill which I'm going to refuse to do. After this I guess I will forward this to the legal department or I will contact my own legal counsel and figure out from here I don't care that it's only $150 cuz my lawyer will cost me more it's the point because there's too many people that are being [Edited: "Language"] over for this. I look forward to somebody's response I don't know how because this seems like an open form but this is absolutely absurd. I'd like to add that I signed up for starlink internet got my internet package in the mail within 4 days plugged it in and had service within 20 minutes I'm being billed exactly what I've been told to the penny and not a penny more. Xfinity in the past every month was changing because of service fees and legal fees and all these stupid fees I don't know why you guys can't make it just as simple as all these other internet companies.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi there @user_4yhfw9 Thank you so much for reaching out on our Xfinity Community Forum.  I can assure you that is not the experience we want for you as a potential valued Xfinity Customer, and I'll be happy to take a look into this.  You mentioned that the services were activated without your knowledge.  When you originally attempted to sign up for Xfinity, did the agent send an email or text confirmation of the package that you were billed for?
