Billed for January after cancelling in December

I spent a long time cancelling my account : [Edited: Personal Information]

via the phone number since it is impossible to do online and it was confirmed via phone to be cancelled as of today and yet I received a bill today for services after Dec 27

can you please verify that my account is terminated as of today! Thanks much I you.

Hey @user_shdy7d, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. When discontinuing services, it can take 24-48 hours for the account to reflect the changes. As the changes were just made today, it is just a coincidence that the new billing cycle is starting. Once the account has been processed, a new prorated final bill will be generated in approximately 7 business days. This allows for any equipment to be returned before any unreturned equipment charges are assessed. We recommend just waiting and you will receive a final adjusted bill soon and confirmation email.

Adding on to this, check the date on the billing statement.  It most likely will be before you canceled your account.  😉
