Bill went up $30 and Xfinity refuse to correct

I’m tryig to get my bill back to what it was. I’ve been with Xfinity for 5 years and have small incremental increase but $30. I know promo rates can get me back to my price but nobody seems to care and are willing to just let you leave.

Hi there @user_2b07b2!  Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to Xfinity Support here on our Community Forum.  We are so glad to hear from you and happy to take a look at your billing and ensure your concerns are addressed.  No worries!  You have reached out to the right team to get things squared away for you.  Please feel free to shoot us a private message so that we can get started.

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

I’ve also been a member since 2018 (almost 6 years!) and I only use Internet. It’s a struggle when I sign up for something for one price and then suddenly  told it will increase. Actually I didn’t even get notified

Hello, @user_yen thank you for taking time out of your day to reply to this post. I completely understand the struggle when billing increases.

We are proactive when promotions are set to expire around 1-2 billing cycles before the changes. This information is located on page one, under the section titled: Your bill explained.

Other things than cause unexpected charges are technician visits, prorated charges for changes made in the middle of a billing cycle, as well as if you're in an area with a data threshold and exceed the 1.2 terabyte allotment.

I am an Official Xfinity Employee.
Official Employees are from multiple teams within Xfinity: CARE, Product, Leadership.
We ask that you post publicly so people with similar questions may benefit from the conversation.
