Bill keeps going up

I am trying to lower my bill. It keeps going up every couple of months. Chat agents say there are no deals on my account. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years and would like to keep my services if I can get an affordable deal. Even when I look myself, trying to change it's only gives me a $3 difference which does not help at all. Please help me lower my bill to something affordable so I don't have to cancel my services!

Hey there, @user_3dg0ff, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your bill. We truly appreciate you being a customer for over 20 years, and I would be happy to see what promotions we have available. Can you please send me a Direct Message with your full name and your full address?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.

I wanted to provide an update after speaking with the corporate forum team in DM. Unfortunately, they were not able to offer any help in lowering my bill. I was told that my current price is already a “fantastic deal,” even though my bill is now over $200 and keeps increasing every couple of months. When I asked for escalation, it didn’t happen.

After more than 20 years as a customer, it’s frustrating to be told there are no loyalty options available, especially when new customers are getting much better pricing. I’m hoping someone with actual authority can review this, because I would like to keep my services — I just need a bill that’s actually affordable.

Thanks for working with our team so we could look at the available promotions, @user_3dg0ff. Your current rate is lower than the available options. There is still a discount on that package though it has gone up from the initial promotion. If you are not wanting to make changes to your service itself, it is best to stay in your current plan. We change our promotions often so you can continue to check out the plan builder for other options that may save you money or we have awesome rates on the Xfinity Mobile service. We can check out the savings if you switched. This is a link to our Xfinity Mobile savings calculator to help you compare, https://www.xfinity.com/learn/mobile/plan/savings-calculator/
