Bill jumped from $65 to $99/mo after loyalty discount expired - long-time Platinum customer seeking retention discount

Hi Xfinity team,

I've been a loyal Xfinity customer since 2018 (Platinum member, Account #[Edited: "Personal Information"] and am hoping to get some help resolving a significant bill increase.

Situation:

- My May bill was ~$59/mo (which included a $40 loyalty discount)

- My June bill jumped to $99/mo because that $40 loyalty discount expired

- This is a $40/month increase with no change in service

- I'm currently on the Fast Plan (600 Mbps) at $99/mo

I've tried reaching a live agent through the Xfinity Assistant chat multiple times today but keep getting "Unable to start a live chat session. Please try again later" every single attempt.

What I'm asking for:

I'd like to either:

1. Get a new loyalty/retention discount applied to bring my bill to $65/mo or below, OR

2. Guidance on how to get this addressed since live chat is unavailable

For context: Xfinity's current Summer Savings Event is offering new customers 300 Mbps for $40/mo locked for 5 years. As an 8-year customer, I'd hope there's a retention offer that's competitive with what new customers are receiving.

I'm happy to stay with Xfinity and would greatly appreciate your help getting this resolved. Please feel free to reach out to me directly.

Thank you!
