Bankruptcy

I filed back in October for Chapter 7 and Xfinity is the ONLY company that continues to harass, ask for money and send notices threatening disconnection. I have been on this phone for hours at this point and I'm mentally exhausted with the lack of knowledge and getting the run around. I need someone that knows what they're doing to see why out of all the creditors, this company is the ONLY ONE to not take care of this past due balance? All paperwork was mailed or electronically sent.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hey there, @cablackwell, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums. I completely understand why you’re feeling mentally exhausted by this. After filing your Chapter 7 paperwork, submitting the documentation, and spending hours trying to get answers, continuing to receive past-due and disconnection notices would be incredibly frustrating. Let’s take a closer look at what’s happening with the account and see what we can do to help get you some clarity. Can you please send us a direct message with your full name and your full address?

How to Send Us a Direct Message:

  • Click “Sign In” if necessary.
  • Click the “Direct Messaging” icon.
  • Click the “Start new conversation” (pencil and paper) icon.
  • In the “To:” line, type “Xfinity Support.”
  • As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select “Xfinity Support” from that list.
  • An “Xfinity Support” graphic will replace the “To:” line.
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  • Press Enter to send it.
