automatic payment

if i sign up on line for automatic payment will i get a reduction in my monthly payemnt?

That’s a great question.

 

Yes, you can receive a monthly discount, but there are two requirements. Auto Pay must be set up using a checking account with your routing and account number, not a debit or credit card. It also has to be paired with paperless billing.

 

When both of those are active, the discount is $10 per month and it will appear on your next billing cycle after enrollment.

I signed up for automatic payments and paperless billing in 2023 (see https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/billing/autopay-question-webpage-vs-email/64ff82b7baecdd4ece055f82?commentId=6577227af961c6163a30f69f). But I never received the discount because, according to Xfinity Support, I didn't have an "eligible plan", even though I met all the requirements in https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/automatic-payment-paperless-billing

If I were to try again, might the discount come though? Or are the video and Internet services I have with Comcast/Xfinity still "not eligible"?
