ANOTHER COMCAST 'SNEAKY' CHARGE

Comcast is well-known for their greedy, practices. Now, I find 'REGIONAL SPORTS FEE' $8.00, on our bill. Comcast assumes people won't actually read their bills. It was for their less than truthful billing practices, that we stopped the autopay and switched to paying our bill by check. I don't want comcast debiting $$ from our bank.....there's just been too many questionable practices. We've tried to find another cable company, but, unfortunately, comcast has a monopoly in the area where we live in San Francisco, CA. And, if you try to finally get through their endless wait by phone, the person who answers only tries to sell you a larger, more expensive package than we already had to get just to be able to get HBO and SHOW.  Corporation greed, definitely out of control, in the US.

We're sharing this information to be more transparent about what drives changes in your bill. Below is a list of common fees, taxes and other charges, along with their explanations.

 Regional Sports Network Fee
The Regional Sports Network Fee is an itemized charge that you'll see on your bill. This charge is not a government-mandated fee and will increase from time to time. It's based on our costs of providing the regional sports networks that we carry on our cable systems in each area. These costs include the fees that regional sports networks charge us to carry them on our cable systems, which are among our largest increasing costs. The Regional Sports Network Fee is not included in our promotional pricing or pricing under your minimum-term agreement and can increase during your promotion or minimum-term. You'll receive advance notice before an increase takes effect.
