Add roommate's name to bill for proof of address

My roommate needs to use the Internet bill as a proof of address. How do I add his name so that it shows up under my name on the Xfinity Bill.

Hi! The only way to have the bill listed under his name is to change the "bill to" name. We can do that, but it will only show it on the opening page of the bill. It will not put the account under his name, and will not give him access to the account (if he is not already an account manager). I can help you get that set up privately if you'd like. Can you reach out via direct message?

You don't have to assign it to me specifically. The soonest available agent will have access to read the posts so far and assist 🙂

It's not necessary. To send information in a private message to Xfinity Support from any forums.xfinity.com page:

  • Click "Sign In" if that prompt is visible

  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon above or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person" but don't do that. It won't work.

Instead, type Xfinity Support there. As you are typing a drop-down list appears.

  • Select "Xfinity Support" from the list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

  • Press Enter or tap the > icon to send it

I'd like to do this with my partner as well. I also need to change my billing address to my service address. Thank you.
