Add name on bill

Hello I’d like to add my husband’s name to my xfinity bill, the reason why is because I e need proof of sharing financial responsibilities. How can I get my xfiniti statements under both of our names?

@user_ksry49 Hello there! Thanks for reaching out for us for help with adding your husband to the account. I would love to help out, but our accounts can only be listed under a single person's name. You are able to add a person with authorized permissions to the account, however the account holder can only be for one person.

Ok how do I do that? And how can I get a copy of that to printed where it shows both names?

@user_ksry49  Adding your husband or anyone else name as authorized user just gives them access to your account depending on what user role  you give them warrants what access they have, there is not a way to print it out ( you can always take a screen shot via our xfinity app or via xfinity.com) nor does it make them legally responsible for the account. This link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/primary-and-secondary-accounts has great information on how to add a person to your account & what the role permission are.

 Thats how you speak to us in private but you can only have one name as the account holder for billing. So adding your wife name a secondary person just gives them access to your account depending on what user role  you give them warrants what access they have, adding them does it make them legally responsible for the account.

And yet, just two months ago in https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/billing/add-spouse-name-to-bill/64dcf2bb2afef0112cc868d9?commentId=64dcf6212d3dd8777f802a59, @XfinityJustinC wrote:

If you are just wanting to add their name to the bill, example: John and Jane Doe. That is definitely something we can update in our system.

There are many other examples of this inconsistency.

It would be a really, really good idea for Comcast to establish a single, clear, definitive statement on this rather simple question, and to remove statements that conflict, like the two examples above do.

@BruceW

I had always been told that only the account holder's name could be on the billing statement and I had confirmed that with several people in the past.  Not long ago, too, an employee and I tried an experiment and we were not able to add someone else's name to the billing statement.  This may be something that @XfinityJessie needs to check into to clear this up.  😉
