Account is being over charged each month and have been told it is fixed multiple times and has been unresolved for 16 months.

Hi, my name is [Edit: PII] and I live at [Edit: PII]. I am a long time Comcast customer Account number [Edit: PII].

In November 2022 I had a 24 month contract with 8 months still left where I paid approximately $230 each month and contract was to end in July 2023.

Each month the autopay worked yet I had to get a hold of comcast to apply the $10 credit that was missing. This went on for six months and in November of 2022 Comcast trying to solve the missing $10 credit and make it work automatically caused the whole contract and billing to change and is still a issue today.

I thought this was finally resolved August 25th 2023 where I received this message from a billing manager on live comcast chat.

@user_ygsupk thank you for taking time out of your day to reply to this post. I understand the frustration when there are unexpected charges on a bill, I'm not happy when I see them on my bill either. When service is suspended for non payment, there used to be a $6 reactivation charge for each residential service you would have (internet, TV, home phone, home security).

The restoration fee has now been set at a flat $12 rate, regardless of home many services are in the home. If your service(s) have been suspended multiple times, a restoration fee may be applied each time it restored.

When a new bill prints, if there are any past due charges that carry over to the new statement a late may be assessed to the new statement as well. In most areas the late fee is $10. There are a few states where late fees are based off a percentage of the balance to calculate the late fee.
