6-7 Year Customer Seeking Affordable Internet Plan or Loyalty Promotion

I've been an Xfinity Internet customer for six years and would really like to remain one.

My monthly internet bill recently increased from $50 to $75 because a promotional discount expired. I've been informed that my remaining discount will expire next year, potentially raising my bill above $100 per month.

I currently have 800 Mbps service but would be happy to reduce my speed to 300 Mbps to lower my bill. Unfortunately, the only downgrade offered through my account is $70 per month.

I've noticed Xfinity is advertising 300 Mbps for $45 per month with a five-year price guarantee for new customers. I understand that this is a new-customer promotion, but I'm hoping an existing customer might qualify for a comparable offer.

I also investigated NOW Internet, but switching would require canceling my current service and potentially going several days without internet, which isn't practical for my household.

Could an official Xfinity representative please review my account for any available loyalty discounts, promotional pricing, or affordable plans that would allow me to keep my existing service active?

I'm hoping to find something in the $45–$50 monthly range while retaining unlimited data.

Thank you for your assistance!

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
