$30 discount for low income/disabled?

I just posted a whole thing and it disappeared.  I'm not sure if it posted or not. I just want to get to the point. I'm in northeast Pennsylvania and have been a customer of Service Electric for years. I've been getting a $30 credit on my internet bill through a government program that I don't know the exact name of.

A Comcast/Xfinity salesman came to my door today because they are new in my area. I signed up and they are coming to install on Tuesday 10/4. The guy said I will still get the $30 government internet discount for being low income/disabled. I just need instructions on what I havecto do to make sure I get this discount now that I switched to Comcast/Xfininty.

Please email me

Hi! I'm happy to hear that you're thinking about making the switch! If you're currently receiving the ACP program, I believe that you would need to submit a new application with Xfinity listed as your provider, and then it can be added to your account. We have a lot of customers who are part of the Xfinity family, are enrolled in the ACP program.
