No Captions available on Fox's 9-1-1 s03e8

There are no closed captions available for Fox's 9-1-1, s03e08, an episode which is ironically titled "Malfunction".

I've checked multiple Xfinity platforms-- X1, Xfinity Stream Beta smart tv app, Xfinity Stream for Android, and The Xfinity Stream website on a PC, and captions are not available on any of them.

Fox's own website has the episode, and captions are available there.

This has happened to me a couple of times with various programs.

Sometimes SAP or CC doesn't get supported on Xfinity; it isn't a problem with your equipment or anything else, it has to do with the supplier.

The only thing I could recommend you do is get in touch with Comcast either via email or by phone, then you could voice a compliant, that way (hopefully) they can resolve the issue.

Best of luck!

this issue can also be a local channel broadcast issue (not the stream but broadcast system ruins the CC stream). to test this play the same recording on both home DVR and via a smart device (cloud DVR).
