NBC in palm beach county

I thought Comcast owned xfinity and NBC. 
I am not sure how xfinity eliminating NBC in Palm Beach County Florida is in their advantage while they have a contract battle with local station owners. In addition to reducing their service to customers with no credit allowances. Poor business move for Xfinity.
