Loss of NBC Access Due to Xfinity–Scripps Dispute

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding the ongoing dispute between Xfinity and Scripps that has resulted in the removal of NBC programming from my service in Santa Maria, California. NBC is the primary—and in fact the only—channel I regularly watch. Losing access to it has significantly impacted my viewing experience and the value I receive from my subscription.

As a paying customer, I should not be caught in the middle of a contract disagreement between two large companies. Regardless of the circumstances, the inability to reach an agreement has directly affected your customers, and it is unacceptable that essential programming has been disrupted for an extended period.

I am requesting clear communication about what steps are being taken to resolve this issue, as well as an estimated timeline for restoration of service. Additionally, I believe compensation or a billing adjustment is warranted given the loss of access to a major network channel.

I urge both parties to prioritize your customers and come to a resolution as quickly as possible. I look forward to your prompt response and a swift restoration of NBC to my lineup.
