iphone and ipad dropping wifi every few seconds
Several people have brought up this issue but I have not seen resolution. I have a new router after being replaced last week by xfinity onsite techs. It is working fine on my laptop connection but my iphone, ipad and a friend's phone and ipad drop wifi every 5 seconds or so. This is costing me big bucks on my cell usage because that's my fallback and I've used most of my data plan. I can't get through to a real person. Please help asap.

Since the issue seems to be affecting multiple Apple devices but not your laptop, I'd like to gather a few more details. Do the iPhones and iPads reconnect on their own, or do you have to manually reconnect them each time? Have you noticed if this happens everywhere in the home or only in certain rooms? We'll be happy to help troubleshoot and get to the bottom of this with you. I know how frustrating it is to rely on cellular data when your Wi-Fi isn't staying connected.
