Cannot turn subtitles off
I have closed caption turned off
The movies and shows are in French and I cannot get rid of the English captions.
TV5 Monde seems to be the only station with that problem.

if the captions symbol shows off, then you are watching a video that has the subtitles burned in to the video (just like putting a channel ID in the corner). that is not something you can turn off.
