xfinity app and the new google tv streamer

Currently using Xfinity app with Firestick TV due to no Xfinity streaming app available for "Google Chromecast with GoogleTV" device. I see there is now a new Google device called "Google TV streamer". Is the Xfinity stream app compatible with this new streaming device?

So many flaws, pay for a streaming service you can’t use. had a Roku Tv Stream app crashed an never worked again, went through all your trouble shooting an still didn’t fix it. upgraded to a Google tv an now the app isn’t available? Cmon… failin
