unable to cancel scheduled recordings

I am unable to cancel scheduled recordings on my DVR via Stream app, Stream website and cable box. Specifically, this is for the “Just this episode” option during the cancelation process. Same issue for many months. If i cancel an upcoming recording i can see it flash on the screen to cancel then immediately removes it and continues the scheduled recording.
