Court TV gone?

As of June 2025 my court tv channel is gone. The Xfinity guide displays it as court tv but when you go to it, it’s broadcasting some old TV shows from the ION channel. One of the best channels to watch live court coverage now gone. May be time to pull the plug.

@FixItAgainTony where are you getting this from? The local network that carried CTV is no longer carrying them and switched to ION Plus. Other areas of the country have broadcast channels that still have CTV, it's just the local network that no lon

Court TV was previously on channel 1191. There was a message last week onscreen saying 'Effective 6/2/25 WPXD channel 31.2 will switch to ION Plus.' I cannot find ION Plus and when I go to the ION Plus website it says to access it via xFinity channel 1191. There is nothing on any of my xfinity bills

@user_zh7hve dropped the Ultimate TV package that used to have CTV and went down to Popular and am saving $30/month. Signed up with Frndly which has unlimited DVR and CTV for $8/month and honestly it's working out great. I'm only keeping Popular for

@user_wv2bls There is going to be no resolution via a "ticket" with Xfinity. It's not their call or problem. The local channel that carried Court TV decided to drop it in favor of ION. Simple as that. Don't hold your breath for a fix.

@user_y2ngix There are many places you can watch it for free, the problem is you can't record it.

@Andyr1 understood. We're asking for xfinity to contract with Ion Plus which apparently now carries Court TV in our area.

@FixItAgainTony as madmad1 mentioned, you can find Court Tv on streaming channels like the Roku TV channel but I couldn’t record it there. There are streaming channels that you pay monthly for that have their own DVR service. If you look for C

@FixItAgainTony It's on may streaming platforms that don't require xfinity but you can't record the channel.

when will xfinity fix the issue with channel 1191. it used to be court tv, lineup and guide still says it court tv but is actually ion. Also, xfinity assitant is useless

Please update if/when/where Court TV is available in our area. I don't think it will happen but wanted to to on the record. I agree with @ande4j0, YouTube looks like the way to go.
