Will "Bridge Mode" on the Arris TG1682G disable the phone lines?

I have an Arris TB1682G gateway. I am trying to set up a Raspberry Pi Pi-hole as the primary DNS. I'd like to know if I turn on "Bridge Mode" on the Arris TG1682G -- since this will disable all router functions -- will the Bridge Mode disable the phone lines?

Quite welcome ! That gateway device contains three separate / independent components that are built in. A cable modem for data transfer and connection to the Comast system. A voice modem (eMTA) for the phone service. And a router for routing / home n

Thanks for the quick answer! Can you say a little more? Are the phone lines completely supported by the modem functionality alone -- so that loss of routing functionality does not affect them? Or -- have you tried this and the phon
