I want to disable advanced security, or at the very least verify that it's off because I cannot tell either way; the app is so unclear. I suspect it's on and do not want it that way, never asked for it to be, would've never wanted it to be... The instructions in this post https://forums.xfinity.com

I did not get a response from Comcast/Xfinity within the 14 day period. Have followed back up with the FCC and also stating this here, in vain hope of actually receiving help for my issue after 6 weeks of trying.

After reaching out again today, I just got an email that Comcast/Xfinity has requested a 14 day extension to respond to the complaint from the FCC and the FCC has granted it. It's already been a month but hopefully there's resolution in the next two

I didn't get a callback from my May 16th voicemail, left another earlier today and tried calling again. At this point I'm feeling ignored by Xfinity. I'll give them a few more days but without a response in that time frame I will be filing another FC

@XfinityVianney I called and checked in May 9th with my customer security assurance officer and again left a voicemail right now. My problem remains and haven't heard back from engineering. I did a little more researching and disabled my IPv6 protoc

@XfinityVianney Still being worked on though engineering reached out to me to confirm my mobile phone model, OS version, and xfinity app version, and will follow back with me.

I was having a support conversation and it made me register a new account instead of letting me sign in but won't let me log back in to my old one. I want to talk as clarkma5, my old account, not this new one. This new one should never have been created. I cleared all my browser cache to try to log
@XfinityFrank It happens this way on both my desktop and my laptop; both forum accounts are connected to the same user/billing account but it just logs me in to this one and not my first one no matter what I do.

@XfinitySara I cleared my cookies and logged back in adding @comcast.net to the username and it just put me back into the second account, not the first.

@XfinityKassie I received a followup call with the security tech based on my FCC complaint and they took my information, no answers yet but an engineer will be following up with me in the next couple days.

@user_l9vela I had no trouble turning Advanced Security on the Go on per the instructions on my Android phone. I believe Advanced Security on the Go requires the xFi complete package on your bill so that might be your issue? But once I had Advanced
