Xfinity App - Can't download for android in Google Play Store

Tried logging into App yesterday to unpause wifi for a device. Couldn't get into App, said I needed to update. Tried updating App, wouldn't work. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, couldn't reinstall. My teenage son was able to download and install the Xfinity App fromthe Apple Store for
