I have the SAME Exact problem. They have replaced my box 3 times... it's still plays like hot garbage. I think they have an inherent problem in the design of how they send/push data in the DVR service.  Doesn't matter if I use their TV box, a P

​I have a laptop with an intel AX210 wifi adapter that supports tri band. However the Xfinity router connects it to the 5 GHz band.  ​ ​how can I create another network and only assign it the 6 GHz band? ​ ​the router is the newest Xfinity Xb8 which supports tri band. ​

The real answer is a bit simpler, and sadder. If you use Xfinity PODs, you are out of luck as they don't support 6. Which is a huge insult because they dont' really tell you this and just harp on their 6 support but from Modem ONLY. Most people get

Since installation, using Xfinity via the X1 box is excruciatingly slow. Loading Disney+, Netflix, or Paramount+ takes 60+ seconds just to get to the "home" screen. Then, trying to select anything forces you to wait a few seconds for a button click on the remote before it actually happens on the scr

@joe0813​ I feel you 100%. Here is what I have done to solve it.  I use my smart TV  for ALL APPS.  Even using the Xfinity app on the TV is faster than using the X1 box.  The sad part is doing this, you lose the DVR function, whi

Xfinity's X1 infrastructure is just not reliable enough to support the X1 architecture. For all non-DVR X1 boxes, when you select a remote-control command, the X1 box sends it to the Xfinity data center for processing, and the response is sent back
