HP printer cannot connect to network -- refers to MAC address filtering by Xfinity router

When I switched from ATT Internet to Xfinity my printer stopped working. Laptop can only communicate with printer via USB cable but not wireless. When I ran a wireless network test report I got a FAIL for No Filtering and an alert that that the MAC address filtering might be enabled and blocks the p

@user_296b78B Turned out it's an older printer and does not support the security std of the router. If your printer is also old, there is a good chance you will be able to use it only via USB cable.

Thank you for the info. I must say this is well above my pay grade as an end user -- this is NOT something that should be left to end-users to hassle with. Regarding the instructions for xfinity.com/myxFi: There is no "See Network on the xFi
