I have had this issue and VPN trick worked, for a while, then back again. VPN off, reload Comcast account to iPhone, changing password and still every week or so, same issue.

@XfinityThomasA​ has the smart resume issue been escalated to the tech experts? I think, from all I’ve read on the smart resume issue on these forums, that doing a hard restart, switching boxes and toggling the smart resume setting is not working. If

How can I use the xfinity app remotely while in my RV? Do I need a Roku for that? Or can I steam off my phone into the TVs? I don’t have smart TVs in the unit.

@BlakeSteen we tried it and it said you must be using your Comcast xfinity wifi in order for it to work.
