Received a TP-Link TL-SG105 that I ordered today and can confirm as well that it works and prevents the delayed connection. Will use it until Comcast steps up and fixes their issues.

So when will this be fixed? It is not an issue a tech will ever be able to resolve if one is sent out to our homes. It is something that likely requires a firmware update to fix.

I also want to note that when I first made my original post in this thread, I was on firmware version CGM4140COM_4.4p5s6_PROD_sey. My firmware has since auto updated to version CGM4140COM_4.4p6s1_PROD_sey and the issue remains.

Just recently received the XB6-T (CGM4140COM) from comcast two weeks ago as my old gateway was starting to fail. This issue has been discussed here before and it is continuing. I am posting this thread again for exposure and hopefully to get this iss
