So you are saying that Comcast has recently de-authorized Firesticks as an approved device?? This is the new update, that we are forced to install/upgrade to?

I was told by comcast customer service that it was a contract negotiation. Firesticks were deauthorized while they are arguing over a contract between Comcast and Amazon.  I was told to get a Roku device.  Worst customer care ever.

Your answer makes no sense. I downloaded and installed the Xfinity streaming app on seven separate Firestick 4k units, following the directions of a Comcast support tech I had on the phone. This was over 2 years ago. They all worked fine until a few
