@jlavaseur Ports 5 and 6 on the Asus AC5300 are reserved for using Link Aggregation. The problem does not appear with my actual router ... it's the fact that the T25 itself has the second port not able to send a signal ... at least from my observa

@BruceW Not sure why you are suggesting Cat 8 would NOT be compatible with Gigabit and more ports since Cat 8 was made expressly for that purpose. Yes, I used Cat 6 cables initially just to setup the mode/router. Whatever I do with the modem,

As part of the service that Comcast/Xfinity offers, you need to get a telephone bundle with Comcast. There are only a few modems offered that support the networked phone, and the Arris T25 is one of them. But trying to get Comcast to respond here

I just upgraded my router to one that supports WAN aggregation. Do I need a second IP adress for that? Can you tell me what the price of that service is? Thank you for your time.
Decided to buy an ASUS GT-AC5300 which supports the protocol .... will post again when I get this setup
