So I just upgraded to gigabit internet and according to the my account info it shows that this modem is compatible with the 1000Mbps internet but customer service is telling me that this modem is NOT since it is DOCSIS 3.0 and Gigabit needs a DOCSIS 3.1 modem. I was getting around 600Mbps down/18up

Ok I notice if I do speedtest on Xfinity.com/speedtest then I am getting 950Mbps download , but other speedtests like Ookla's speedtest.com shows me alot slower download speeds. Why would that be?

I have been fighting this issue since upgrading to Gigabit internet . I've never been able to get gigabit speeds. First they tell me my modem isn't compatible even though my account page shows it is compatible. So I buy a new modem. With the new mode
